Does a barcode prove that a perfume is authentic?
No single barcode should be used as the only authenticity check. Packaging, sourcing, product details and other characteristics should be considered together.
Does a batch code prove authenticity?
A batch code may provide production information, but it should not be considered definitive proof of authenticity by itself.
Why is my perfume box different from photos online?
Brands may use different packaging depending on market, production date, batch or packaging updates.
Is an unboxed perfume still authentic?
Yes. Genuine perfumes may sometimes be sold without standard retail packaging. Where applicable, this should be disclosed on the product page.
Why does my new perfume not last as long as my previous bottle?
